Aubree Comes to Visit

Having children has got to be the best tool for selflessness. Who would have thought it possible to love someone more just because they love your kid? Travis and I were so happy when Aubree decided to pay us a visit. It was really heart warming to see her take of her time and money for just a weekend with us. 

So much to do in just one day. In summary, Denny's for breakfast. Burgers for lunch followed by yummy frozen yogurt from Orange Leaf. In our book, a happy tummy means a happy vacation.

Remember this picture from way back when? Well, this is from the La la cupcake place in downtown Fort Worth. I bring it up because we decided to try their so called 'best cupcakes in Fort Worth'. After much analysis, we the Skelton panel agree they are delicious but not worth all the hype and money. 

Yep, we took her to the little train. Can't help it, it's our signature move.

Horrible picture quality but this was our goodbye photo at the airport. Thank you for coming to see us Aubree and you will be missed.  In the faint whisper voice of Kate Winslet at the end of the Titanic movie, we say to you.. 'Come back, Come back'
